I was so excited to discover that the author had decided to do a Holiday Novella; allowing me to reconnect with some of my favorite 2012 characters.The story is told with an unheard of amount of heart-wrenching emotion. Although short, about 100 pages, she was able to construct a complete storyline jammed-packed with suspense.
Without a doubt this book earned its 5 stars!!!
This is a novella with characters that I worship - so you can read it as a stand-along but, you shouldn't miss getting the full trilogy experience.

Like the entire "Deadly Trilogy" series, this novella was just as wonderful! I have truly enjoyed reading all of these books and can not wait to start the new Profile series!! I love how Ms. Grace always incorporates all of the older characters into the current books and keeps you updated on their lives instead of forgetting about them once their story is done. This novella, like the entire series, is action packed, full of surprises, heartwarming, heartbreaking, while always full of families that have such love for one another & so much respect for all others. (things that we all wish this world had alot more of!!!) Ms. Grace shows such true passion through all of her characters & in every story-which is why she is one of my favorite writers. I look forward to all of her future books, knowing they'll be just as great as the others! This series is a definite must read!! Although the prices of the books are great, the stories are much more exceptional!!!
I read the previous books regarding all the characters in this Novella so I really liked the fact that the novella wrapped up where the characters ended up and how their lives had turned out. Sometimes, I find it frustrating to read a series and than be left hanging. So "thank you" Alexa Grace. I discovered this wonderful author via and kicked myself for not reading anything of hers before. I collect books, authors I cherish and am always looking for new and exciting reads. Again, I thank Ms. Grace and will continue reading her stories. They have everything, excitement, drama, love stories and great humor. Be prepared as they touch on topics of serial killings, blackmarket "baby selling" and abuse issues. Ms. Grace writes with compassion, developing her characters with realism. Don't miss out.
I'm not a fan of novellas! But this was part of a series, and I'm glad I got it, it rounds off the 'Deadly series nicely, covered any loose ends and brought happy endings.
The Deadly Series boxed set contains the 3 full length novels, and are worth reading.
Book 3 contained several errors any proof reader should have caught, but if you've left any ebook reviews or sent a text, you soon find that what you wrote, sometimes wasn't exactly what you sent or they received. 1error in book 3, she was searching for the gun. Bad guy jumped her, "she CHAMBERED her fist". There were a few more, but all three of those books were enjoyable reads. MAINLY for the characters, the plots were good to OK.
There is some descriptive sex, between people who care about each other and eventually married, etc. At least it wasn't the focal point of these stories, like a few I've had the misfortune to buy recently, with only 15% mymstery (and not a very good one) and 85% nothing but sex, and more ongoing sex.
My biggest complaint with this author is her request for readers to join her 'street team' and to leave posts, AND 're-tweets on Facebook and Twitter, she promises to send you freebies. So how of many of her good reviews are real or 'ONLY' there for the goodies.
She's a competent storyteller, but she is not in the same league as David Baldacci, Nora Roberts or Tami Hoag. Nor would I pay the same price for an Alexa Grace book as I would for theirs.
I think this author can do a better job and maybe work her way up.
So I recommend reading this author, maybe she'll be your top author choice.
I believe I am changing my best author to Alexa Grace!

I have read all the Deadly trilogy ebooks and all great books! I could talk about all the other books but this is about Deadly Holiday. I enjoyed the fact that this is putting every characters lives in this books and gives you more suspense that is going on in their lives.
Alexa knows how to separate and go into what the other person is doing. She makes it easy to follow along.
Now in this book, it's about finding a 5 year old boy that has run away because he didn't want to get beat by his mother anymore. You can't really blame the kid because who wants to get beat? Even though the book goes into what others are doing as well the people are all worried about the 5 year old boy. I feel the mother did a great thing by getting an attorney to write up papers to give custody over to Jennifer in case of her death. This book explains how and what happens with each and every character and that's what I love about this book!
Great job Alexa, you are my favorite author and will be reading a lot more books from you!!!
